We absolutely love the font BOURBON designed by Mattox Shuler. From Fort Foundry.

Bourbon Font is so how much fun that it really amazes me working with the font on many creative layouts. We have used it in many commercial project and the out come is characteristic unique and identity it derives had always fascinated me.

The typeface uniquely creates vertical visual experiences on simple plain backgrounds or dark images, font face has its own personality along with content.

We think a lot of designers would have fun like us. Font is available on adobe typekit.

Foundry: Fort Foundry

Fort began in 2013 as Mattox Shuler decided to finally try his hand at the daunting task of “making a font.” Those first few feeble attempts led to a lifetime of love for all things type. Fort gets its name from the forts many of us built as kids. No matter the shape or size, they were places filled with creativity, fun, and adventure. We strive to bring a mix of playfulness and functionality in the fonts we release.

Building forts was always more fun with friends too. In 2018, Fort added Brian Brubaker to the team, and aside from Fort’s own internal releases, we love working with outside designers to bring their designs to fruition.
